I am a Diplomate in Couple and Family Psychology of the American Board

the DC Psychological Association and, active for many years in
professional activities
I founded and directed Washington
Assessment & Therapy Services, Inc. (WATS), a large multi-site
outpatient program for nearly 25 years, sold WATS in late 2006, and
downsized to a solo private practice offering the skills I’ve honed over
the years.
My specialties include individual therapy
with adults, with an emphasis on the addictions and on persons with
ADHD; couples and family therapy; psychological assessments of many
kinds; and forensic (court-related) services. I also provide services
for older adults, their families, their legal representatives, and their

best services for my clients, including mental health specialists,
physicians, and attorneys.
I frequently collaborate on
seniors-related services with my wife, Suzan Wynne, MSW, a clinical
social worker and geriatric care manager, who is in the first group of
non-attorneys eligible to receive Guardianship appointments through DC
Superior Court.
I am an amateur jazz drummer, a
basketball fanatic, and a happy grandparent.
